I teach you how to train your dog, for beginners (people who have just gotten a dog and don’t know on how to train them). In this video I explain the basic needs your dog will need, and how to properly walk your dog on a lead when you decide to take him/her for an outside walk.
Here are the basic needs for your dog/puppy:
1. food bowl
2. water/milk bowl
3. rawhide bone
4. squeaky/nylon/rubber toy
5. Milkbone/training treats
6. Beggin’ Strips for snack
7. bed/travel kennel
8. container to place dog for bath
9. Dog paste
NOTE: DO NOT, by any means, use human toothpaste for your dog’s teeth. He/she will get a disease and/or die
10. Tooth brush
11. lead/leash
12. Collar
13. Identification tag: hook it into the metal loop of your dog’s collar
14. doggie shampoo
Roses is my one and a half year old dachshund puppy. She is almost reaching her adulthood, but I am still teaching her new things. In this video I throw a tennis ball. Notice how she runs after it, but her mind is on the bone.
I am also showing you (briefly) how to teach your dog how to sit. She knows how to sit already. Just wave a treat above his/her head, and she will hopefully sit. Then say “sit” or “shit.”
Another special trick I taught her is “up”, and when I say this, she jumps and puts her paws on my knees. I will have to be careful, though. Dachshunds can easily break their backs when they jump
