    I like the name Mea, or Kiara. Not too common. I also have a cat named Convict. She was born by my older cat, and when ever I would walk in the room, as soon as she could walk, She would break out of her little inclosure, and run at me. She was my little convict, and it just stuck. That is a cute, but yet not usual name. I've never heard a pet called that before. I'm sure it could work for a dog also.

    I like Cinders and Sophie, but they're not extremely rare. Try google for small female dog names or poodle names or black dog names. I've found some great lists! Good luck with the new dog!

    Six years old? I would suggest something similar to what she has been called before, else it will take her a while to learn her new name. I like Moo-Moo though.

    If you have a 6 year old dog, why are you changing the name anyway? Its bad luck. What has she been called for the past 6 years? You will confuse her if you change her name when shes 6 YEARS old.

    if its 6 years old you should consider keeping the name it already has to avoid confusion, my chihuahua is called Lola though, i really like that name!
